Episode 17: To Tip or Not To Tip
Welcome to the Money Talks Podcast! In today’s episode, we’re diving into the history and social expectations of tipping. Is it about the quality of service, or just social pressure? With 72% of Americans agreeing that tipping is expected more than ever, we’ll explore what’s considered an appropriate tip, the etiquette around tipping in person or on a screen, and whether gratuity should be automatically included for large parties. We’ll also discuss suggested gratuity, what makes “good” service, and if a date who doesn’t tip gives you the “ick.” Plus, we’ll share where you should NEVER tip and where you ALWAYS do. Tune in for a thought-provoking conversation that will change how you approach tipping!
